Marketing Specialist

Christine Valmy, a leader in beauty education and natural skin care innovation, is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our vibrant and growing beauty company in the heart of Manhattan. This position will be integral to shaping the marketing programs across the full scope of brand-building and revenue-driving initiatives for both the education and prestige skincare business lines, as well as for a mass-market sister brand also managed in-house. The Marketing Specialist will be joining at a key moment in the trajectory of the Christine Valmy organization, as we revamp this 60-year-old brand and prepare to reintroduce it to the broader marketplace with a national campaign.

The Marketing Specialist will contribute as needed in the following areas:

  • Brand development, including strategy and visual identity
  • Content creation
  • Packaging design and production
  • Social media marketing and engagement
  • Influencer partnerships
  • Advertising planning, buying, and creative asset production
  • Email marketing
  • Event planning
  • Website and eCommerce creation and maintenance
  • Sales collateral development
  • Public relations initiatives
  • ROI reporting and optimization
  • Retail media management
  • Third-party retailer and marketplace support

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Adept at managing and prioritizing both ad hoc tasks and big-picture projects
  • Eager to contribute their hard work to building a fresh and modern voice for a historic brand
  • Organized, adaptable, curious, and conscientious
  • Experienced with a broad range of marketing disciplines
  • Creative and strategic, but also comfortable working with data and numbers
  • Skilled in writing, with an eye for design
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced environment and efficiently accomplish tasks
  • Motivated to produce high-quality work for all types of projects, from the exciting to the day-to-day

A minimum of two years of marketing experience is preferred.


The full-time, in-person position is based primarily in our Times Square location, very close to most public transportation options. However, the Marketing Specialist will be required to visit our New Jersey locations on occasion to generate web and social media content.
