Job description

Software Project Manager manages software product development while overseeing its specialization, objectives, structure, and requirements. This role also encompasses the planning and monitoring necessary to deliver the optimal software.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Thoroughly learn how each department at Christine Valmy operates to support each business line with technology (at the schools, manufacturing department, and support operations)
  • Manage all Christine Valmy software and integrations, including troubleshooting and testing. The software includes all SaaS
  • Train staff on software
  • Work with the hardware team to ensure seamless IT operations
  • Create automation and processes to save time and increase efficiency
  • Project manage/coordinate any software development, integrations, implementation

o Effective project management and clear, timely communication are essential for the success of this position

o Must have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems effectively and use good judgment of when to use 3rd party developers or resolve internally

  • Shopify

o Manage Shopify sites (including POS systems) and any apps associated with Shopify

  • Regular visits to Christine Valmy's offices will be required
  • Any other requests as directed by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in product management
  • Track record of managing successful products throughout their lifecycle
  • Ability to develop product and marketing strategies
  • Solid technical background in software development and web technology understanding
  • Effective collaboration skills with software development teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Preferred MSc/BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
