Project and Logistics Coordinator

What we're looking for

We are currently seeking a Project & Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is a great opportunity to get on the ground floor of a growing and successful company. We are looking for a driven individual who wants to work hard and grab opportunities. The ideal candidate will be the liaison between all departments including R&D, Quality Assurance, Operations, and Production to facilitate internal development work ensuring critical deadlines are met and the work is completed in a timely, complete and high-quality manner.

This person will also be responsible to oversee, manage, and coordinate incoming EDI orders from all major retailers (such as Walmart, Target, Amazon) and to route domestic shipments. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years' experience with EDI and understands all essential reporting and communication requirements as it relates to EDI and logistics related major retailers’ platforms. The candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills, and knows how to work independently and with various teams. The ideal candidate will directly be reporting to Operations Head and will be responsible for managing the strategic operations within the functional areas of receiving, shipping, storage/distribution of goods, supply chain management, and customer delivery.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

Project Coordinator

·         Create project timelines and oversee timely execution of new product launches, in-store merchandising, displays, sampling programs, and on-going improvements to existing items.

·         Actively work in partnership with cross-functional team members and external stakeholders to validate timelines and find solutions to any obstacles to project completion.

·         Clearly communicate and track each project timeline. Any risks should be visible and communicated.

·         Own the critical flow of communication between cross-functional team members on each project, including but not limited to leading weekly project status meetings with cross-functional teams to track progress, creating agendas and recaps for those meetings, maintaining awareness of upcoming deadlines, sharing updates in project scope, and ensuring a smooth workflow on tight timelines.

·          Processes and coordinates all necessary documentation for client submissions, including but not limited to regulatory, safety, quality and additional paperwork that might be demanded by the client.


 

Logistics Coordinator



·         Thorough familiarity in all aspects of Logistics. This includes: Domestic Logistics, Inventory Management, and Warehousing.

·         Conducts all negotiations with relevant vendors, including but not limited to freight brokers, supply vendors etc.

·         Researches chargebacks and handles resolutions accordingly (warehouse level, inventory level)

·         Onboard new customers ensuring team is aware of all routing, labeling, and shipping requirements

·         Manages 3rd party EDI provider (changes, adding trading partners, etc.)
